London · data and systems

We process the data. We keep the systems running.

PricewaterhouseCoopers IT Services handles data processing and day-to-day technology support for companies in the PwC network. A job starts with a clear file, a system, and what you need done.

Who we work for

Companies in the PwC network

The work is for firms in that network, not for the general public. We take a data set or a system they already use, and we do the processing or the support they asked for.

We do not sell software off a shelf, and we do not run a public help desk.

Data

Processing, in plain steps

  • ReceiveYou send the file, the source system, and what the output should look like.
  • CheckWe look for missing fields, duplicates, and rows that do not match the brief.
  • ReturnYou get the processed file, plus a short note of what changed.

Support

Technology, when something breaks

A firm writes when a system they rely on is slow, wrong, or down. We ask which system, what they expected, and what they see instead.

The reply is a fix, a workaround, or a clear statement that the fault sits outside the systems we look after.

A typical week

Files in the morning, systems through the day

Batches

Scheduled files that arrive on a set day and need the same checks each time.

One-off sets

A single extract that needs cleaning before a firm can use it.

Incidents

A system that stopped behaving, logged with the time it failed.

Agree a time first

Embankment Place is the company address. It is not a walk-in desk. If a meeting is needed, we set it by email.

A first note with the system name, or a description of the file, is enough to start.
